A Little Stiff, A Little Sore

Kay and I went to the tennis club this evening, to practice a bit on our own. After running around for about an hour my knees are talking to me just a bit, but nothing like Kay's. Her knees are hurting, the heel of her hands and her back are hurting. This is not from tennis practice, but from dealing with dummies all day. Kay spent the day trying to bring dummies back from the dead, and failed miserably. All of this during an 8 hour CPR and first aid class.

Here it is, 9:00pm again, and we haven't had dinner yet. That will happen soon. We keep telling ourselves that we are going to eat earlier, but it just doesn't seem to happen. Tomorrow night it will because we are going out to dinner with the Laborers For Christ. The whole group goes out every Thursday night at 5:30pm to a different restaurant. Tomorrow night we are going to O'Doherty's in downtown Spokane. I can't wait because their fish and chips are fantastic.

After about 3 months, we finally heard from Lena today. Lena was our exchange student from Germany a couple of years ago. We have been sending her emails all summer long, and there was no response, so we thought she might be dead...not really...but it was very nice to hear from her again.

Tomorrow will be a cooler day, and there may be a shower or two in the morning. I'll have much more to say about the weather in about 10 hours.
