As is my Saturday night custom, here are pictures of the church building site. The changes are not as dramatic from the outside as the exterior is nearing completion. Wet weather slowed things down a bit on Thursday and Friday, but the project continues to move forward. Tomorrow we will be saying good-bye to two couples from the Laborers For Christ. They have become good friends, so it is going to be hard to see them go. It will be up to us to visit them and keep the friendship fire burning.
The wind is howling out there tonight, coming down from the north. It is not that cold, but the chill goes right through you. I have a softball game tomorrow afternoon and the wind will definitely be a factor, not so much in how far I can hit the ball (which isn't all that far), but in the area of comfort. It should be dry on Sunday, with some sunshine, but temperatures will only be in the 50s in the afternoon.
