Weekend's End

This has been quite a weekend, with New Year's Eve being last Thursday it seems to have gone on forever. Hey...I'm not complaining. we had a nice day of sitting, and occasionally dozing off, on the couch watching football, and then a big dinner with friends. Most of the prep work was done yesterday making for a stress free day. Now it is just about time to call it a day, and prepare to get back at it tomorrow. The day will start off on the tennis court, but not until 9:30am, and then it will be off to work to begin gearing up for next Sunday. I still don't have to get back at the school work for another week, but I think that I will work ahead a little bit just to ease back into the swing of things.

The weather today was nice, a little sun at times and temperatures into the low to mid 40s. Tomorrow is looking wetter, and there may be some snowflakes mixed in with the rain early in the day, at least up here in the higher ground of town. From there on we should get a chance to dry out through the middle to latter part of the week as a high pressure ridge builds over the Pacific Northwest. That will cool things down a bit, and probably breed some foggy and cloudy weather, but as for snow there doesn't appear to be a lot of that coming anytime soon.
