Snow To Slush The Slop

This week's weather is going to be interesting, and at times challenging. We are going to be seeing snow tonight, and by morning the travel will be tricky with about 3 or 4 inches on the ground. Tomorrow it will begin to get warmer, and another batch of precipitation will be coming in later in the day. That will be mostly rain. Rain on Wednesday, and off and on into Thursday will make for a sloppy and slushy mess for awhile, but I believe that by Wednesday morning the roads will be just wet, not white. Temperatures will be on an upswing, getting above freezing tomorrow afternoon for the first time in a week and a half. It will continue to get very slowly warmer through Tuesday night into Wednesday. We should be in the mid to upper 30s through Wednesday and Thursday. The milder weather should then last into the weekend. The outlook through the week of Christmas doesn't show any major storms, so if all of the snow that falls tonight melts by the end of the week it may be difficult to get a white Christmas. That is still a week and a half away though, and computer models are not all that skilled in predicting things that far out...so I'll keep you posted.

Now...off to the tennis club to get my butt kicked!
