Christmas Memories

Here are just a few photos...from my brand new camera...that scream Christmas. There are a couple of shots of our outdoor decorations shining brightly on Christmas Night, then there is Beth looking befuddled while playing Scattagories, and finally the homemade mac-n-cheese that Kay made this evening, the night after Christmas.
What I didn't get a shot of, and really wish that I had, was my buddy Brady running around outside in his brand new Spiderman underoos. You remember Brady...he's 4...and there are pictures of him in some of the posts back in August and September. Anyway, when we came home from church yesterday morning Brady came out the door to greet us, clad in the Spiderman attire. The temperature was about 25 degrees, and the Spiderman underoos only have short drawers, but the cold didn't bother him in the least. Earlier today, as mom and dad were loading up to go, Brady was back out there again...back out there protecting the neighborhood as 54th Lane's very own Spiderman.
Today has been a listless day, as none of us have had much energy. I watched some football on TV, while at times dozing in the chair, Kay took a nap and Beth went to a movie with a friend. Tomorrow morning we will be having only one church service (we usually have two), which will be held at 9:30am. After that I am hoping another nap might be worked into the plans. There is still some recovering left to be done from the Christmas holiday!
