Party Time!

This morning a bunch of us got together to do a complete cleaning of the education wing of the new church and school building. There was lots of dust, dirt and debris, but once we were finished most of it left the building! We had a great turn out and many hands made the load a lot lighter. As you can see from the pictures it was not only hard work that was going on but a lot of laughing too. The pre-school is set to open February 1st, and all that is left to do in the rooms is put the baseboards in and carpet the hallways. I believe the carpet will be going in on Monday.

As if that wasn't enough exercise I chased, and I mean chased, high school basketball players for a good three hours this afternoon. It started with the West Valley High School JV girls battling the JV girls from Clarkston High School. It turned into a real ugly game, a foul fest, where we must have whistled over 60 fouls...all legit! That took forever. My partner and I immediately hustled off to the school field house to call the boys JV game. The first half of that one was rather rough, but we got things cleaned up in the second half, so things went pretty well. West Valley came from behind to win the game going away. Both games were extremely fast paced, so after about three hours of running my knees are barking at me!
