It is a bit on the windy side this morning, and again abnormally warm. A typical mid January morning would feature temperatures in the low 20s, but today we are 20 degrees warmer than that, in the low 40s! A look at the satellite view over the western United States and the eastern Pacific shows boat loads of warm moist air heading this way which will result in more mushy and muddy weather. Rain will be kicking in later today and last into tomorrow, with a few showers again on Sunday. High temperatures will be in the middle to upper 40s through the weekend, and overnight lows, which won't be very low, will remain in the mid to upper 30s. I still see no impending return to winter like weather anytime soon...WooHoo!
Last night we watch the Gonzaga Bulldog basketball team methodically put down a threat from their biggest and best conference rival, St. Marys of Moraga, California. That is in the East Bay area near San Francisco. The Zags controlled the game from start to finish, and never let the Gaels get get back to even in the second half. A very impressive win! These guys are going to be a very tough out in the NCAA tournament in a couple of months as the younger guys keep getting better.
