I noticed the stars in the sky last night, meaning that the clouds had cleared away. That led to colder temperatures and as a result the moisture from the past few days turned to frost this morning. The roadways are a little slick. Yesterday we were also remembering the conditions of a year ago, when we were coming to the end of a 3 week stretch that featured 6 feet of snow! In comparison, a little frost and a bunch of rain is a far better alternative, at least in my mind.
The weather today will be quiet, and dry. Clouds will block the sun most of the time, but temperatures will be up near 40 degrees. More rain is coming in later tonight into Monday, and it should turn a little bit cooler through the middle of the week. No major snowstorms are seen lurking out there on the horizon though, so this winter continues to be an easy one...at least so far!
