You might have though that I had met with an untimely end, since I didn't check in last night or early this morning. Last night was a neighborhood Christmas celebration, and we didn't get home until late...very tired. This morning I was up and out early to referee three 7th grade boys basketball games from 8am until noon. Then, it was off to the airport to pick-up Beth, coming home for Christmas break from Concordia University-St. Paul.
Tomorrow we have out annual Christmas Open House...ya'll come!...so Kay is busy preparing. At 4pm we will have our final church choir rehearsal before performing our cantata in both services tomorrow. This evening we will decorate the Christmas tree that we got yesterday. As you can see we have a busy day in progress.
The weather is gray and wet, and will remain gray and wet through tomorrow. High temperatures will be near 40 this afternoon and tomorrow, and tonight we will dip only to the mid 30s. It will get a little chillier next week, but the prospects for significant snow are dim between now and Christmas.
