I was on Facebook a short time ago, and saw that a few of the people that I went to high school with, 4376 years ago, were talking about how it was going to be 80 degrees or warmer in Jacksonville and Tampa, Florida, where they now live. This was in response to those from high school who still live in southwest Wisconsin, and are dealing with 12 to 15 inches of snow this morning. We don't have it near so bad hear in eastern Washington, with no snow on the ground whatsoever, but a temperature this morning of 7 degrees. The bottom line is that it wasn't that many years ago that we lived in Jacksonville, and on days like this I long to be living there again. I really liked Jacksonville. It was a big enough city, but not too big. The winters are mild, but just a little too chilly to be choked with snowbirds from the north, and the beach is there every day of the year.
Our cold and quiet weather streak will continue to march on. The overall outlook has changed little from what I have been reporting over the past day or two. We look forward to a little warmer weather...sometime next week!
