Not Gonna Complain!

The official temperature says 2 degrees this morning, while my car thermometer read -2 when I drove into the church parking lot. We are down in a valley and the coldest air collects here in the bottom lands. That's cold, but I am not going to *&%$# about it. It could be a whole lot worse! We could be dealing with 2 feet of snow...remember last year at about this time? I would much rather put up with a chill in the air than have to try to get around in that! Speaking of snow, the upper Mississippi Valley is the place to be for that, including my hometown of La Crosse, Wisconsin. The folks are in line for 8 to 12 inches of snow, blowing snow with strong winds, and then subzero temperatures. Don't think that I am laughing, no, I am not, because our turn will probably come soon enough.

Back here at home the cold and quiet weather will continue. Today's temperatures will struggle to get to the mid teens, and tomorrow about the same. We may see a few snow flurries tomorrow, but nothing much. As we head into the upcoming weekend our snow chances will increase, especially Saturday night into Sunday. I'll be keeping a close eye on that, and let you know more about it as the days draw closer. For now, expect a very slow but steady trend upward in temperatures at the end of the week.
