It is cold and quiet this morning, with just a fine dust of snow covering the streets and driveways. At least the wind is not howling...not yet! That will begin tonight into tomorrow as even colder air get blown into the area from the northeast. Winds will gust to 3o miles per hour, and temperatures will only be around 20 (after reaching 30 today) so the combination will produce a windchill of zero or below at times. There isn't much snow in the forecast for the next few days, but it sure will be cold. On Monday and Tuesday the high temperatures won't be getting out of the teens, and the lows will be near zero. If there were a bunch of snow on the ground it would be 10 to 15 degrees colder.
Kay and I were considering going out to hunt down and kill a Christmas tree tomorrow. With the above forecast...not so much!
