Well, it is not really finished. My first seminary course will continue through the middle of November, but the on-site part of it is over. It was kind of sad to see it come to an end though, as that means that the 12 of us students are now scattering once again, going back home, and we won't have the face to face presence of our teachers. All is not hopeless though as the wonders of technology allow us to continue to communicate, building our knowledge and friendships. I am not leaving until tomorrow morning, so I will be taking the opportunity to take a walk along the river to work off some of the 3 and a half tons of food that has been consumed this week. Uff-dah!
The weather has been nice so far today, but the high clouds that are rolling in right now from the west herald a change. That change will come tonight with some rain, and I certainly hope a little lightning and thunder. It is a comfortable afternoon with temperatures in the 60s. In Spokane the day started chilly again, with 36 degrees the official low. Temperatures should reach the mid 50s this afternoon with the clouds increasing. Rain is in the forecast for Spokane too, and it will also be coming tonight into tomorrow morning. Another batch of rain will be moving in by Saturday morning, with mostly cloudy skies expected through the weekend. A few showers may be seen Sunday too, but most of the day should be dry. Temperatures will remain chilly, and that means highs in the 50s and lows near 40. Early next week there should be an improvement with drier, sunnier and somewhat warmer conditions. That should get temperatures back in the 60s again.
